WELCOME
Homeschooling has been such a blessing for our family. People often comment on how they "don't know how I do it" or that "they could never." I'm here to tell you that you can and even if you think you cannot, God can! He has certainly given me all the graces necessary to homeschool my five children. The truth is that most of my homeschool days are livede on coffee and a prayer (ok, lots of prayers)! But, with each year of homeschooling under our belt, it gets that much better. We have a wonderful Catholic homeschooling community and have found many resources to help us along the way. I've also created a few resources myself, to fill in the gaps and tailor to each of my children's individual needs. I hope that by sharing our experiences and resources with you all, that you can have a successful homeschooling journey, too.

If you learn nothing except Christ, you learn everything.”
-St. Bonaventure

PRIMARY LECTIO DIVINA
Primary Lectio Divina was developed as a journal writing prompt for lower grammar level students. Lectio Divina is Latin for "Divine Reading" and is a traditional monastic method for praying with the scriptures. As homeschoolers, we have children of all age levels learning together at one table. The purpose of Primary Lectio Divina is to include those just learning to read and write. Students are encouraged to draw out their reflections of the scripture and write out their prayer responses (phonetic spelling is completely normal for intended age range.) Not only will this tool help you to enjoy fellowship with God as a family, but it also is setting lifelong practices into place. I pray that this tool blesses you and your family as much as it has ours.

Our household is filled with bookworms. I love being able to fill our bookshelves with rich Catholic literature for both kids and adults alike.

We know certainly that our God calls us to a holy life. We know that he gives us every grace, every abundant grace; and though we are so weak of ourselves, this grace is able to carry us through every obstacle and difficulty.
- St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
